Despite a strong team performance, Sligo were edged out by Rainey Old Boys 24-20 in Saturday's Energia All-Ireland League Division 2B game in Magherafelt.
A Ryan Davies try in injury-time gave the home side a narrow victory in a game which could have gone either way.
The result means Sligo slip to eighth in the table after six matches played.
