A strong team performance saw Sligo's Masters team overturn All-Ireland champions Mayo in on a scoreline of 0-16 to 1-9 on Wednesday evening in Ballymote's Corran Park.
In a tough encounter Sligo got on top in the second half having trailed by three points early in the period.
It was a game full of great scores; particularly from Mayo's Kevin Fulan and Sligo's Johnny Kenny.
Next up for Sligo is Westmeath in round three.
On Monday, the Leitrim/Longford Masters picked up their first point after a 0-15 to 2-9 draw with Monaghan.
