Tyrone won the inaugural Philly McGuinnes under 20 development league title on Saturday afternoon in Mohill with a comprehensive 1-23 to 1-10 win against Sligo.
This development league was named in honour of former Leitrim footballer Philly McGuinness who died in 2010. His home club, Mohill, had the honour of staging Saturday's final.
Sligo had beaten Leitrim under 20s en route to this decider but here, they were outplayed by an impressive Tyrone team who led by 1-14 to 1-5 by half-time.
And they kept Sligo at arm's length throughtout the second-half to win by 13 points in the end.
