Sligo Rovers secured a timely win in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division on bank-holiday Monday with a 1-0 win against St Patrick's Athletic at the Showgrounds.
Ellis Chapman scored the all-important goal on 23 minutes in front a crowd of 2548 spectators, firing a crisp left-footed shot to the corner of the net from distance.

The result ends a six-game winless streak for Rovers.
They remain in eighth place on 17 points - but are just three points off fourth position after 14 matches.
