Sligo Rovers and Waterford drew 0-0 in Monday night's SSE Aitricity League Premier Division game at the Showgrounds in front of a crowd of 1,528.
In difficult weather conditions, there were few goalscoring opportunities in the opening half - and while the tempo of the game improved in the second 45 minutes, neither side was able to produce a matchwinner.
Rovers now prepare for third game in seven days when they travel to Richmond Park in Dublin on Good Friday to play St Patrick's Athletic at 7:45pm.
