Sligo Rovers have confirmed that a player has tested positive for Covid-19.
A club statement on Monday said the case had been traced to outside of the football club - and says the player in question has no contacts within the club.
A second Rovers player continues to test negative for Covid-19.
However, he has been deemed a close contact of a case outside of the club - and is self-isolating this week as per Covid protocols.
It means both players will miss the European trip to Iceland.
Rovers are due to fly out tomorrow ahead of Thursday evening's Europa Conference League 1st qualifying round first leg tie against FH Hafnarfjörður (kick-off 7pm).
The club says all the other players have tested negative and remain unaffected.
The squad was tested again on Monday morning - which is part of standard protocols.
Results of these tests will be known before the team flies to Iceland on Tuesday.
