Sligo Rovers picked up a valuable point away from home at the Brandywell on Friday night with a 1-1 draw against title contenders Derry City.
Despite absorbing a lot of early pressure, Rovers produced an excellent team move on 25 minutes which saw Max Mata score his fifth goal of the season to put the visitors in front.

Rovers dealt with everything Derry threw at them until 10 minutes from time when Ciaran Coll headed in the equaliser.
The only other blip for Rovers was a worrying looking ankle injury to defender Johann Brannefalk, which saw him stretchered from the pitch in the opening half.
