Sligo Rovers draw with Derry, Shamrock Rovers retain title

Sligo Rovers 0-0 draw with Derry City at the Showgrounds on Monday night ensured Shamrock Rovers retained the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division title for 2022.

Derry were the only team who could still mathematically catch Shamrock Rovers but Monday's result in Sligo meant Stephen Bradley's claim the title for the third season in a row.

Sligo Rovers manager John Russell spoke to Ocean FM Sport's Dónal Ryan after Monday night's game.
