Sligo Rovers returned to winning ways on Friday night with an impressive 2-0 win against St Patrick's Athletic in their televised SSE Airtricity League Premier Division game.
A first-half penalty from Johnny Kenny and an exquisite finish from the excellent Ryan De Vries just before the interval secured all three points for Liam Buckley's side.

It's Rovers first win since their league win against Longford Town on July 3rd.
Derry City's 2-2 draw with Finn Harps means Rovers are now four points clear of their nearest challengers in third place in the table.
Tempers frayed after the full-time whistle as TV captured pictures of a melee involving players and backroom team members from both clubs in the players tunnel.
Friday night's Premier Division results
Sligo Rovers 2 St Patrick's Athletic 0
Derry City 2 Finn Harps 2
Shamrock Rovers 2 Waterford 0
