Sligo Rovers learn fate in women's All-Island Cup

Sligo Rovers will face group matches against FAI Cup holders Shelbourne, Bohemians and Linfield of the Northern Ireland Football League (NIF), when the 2025 edition of the women's All-Island Cup begins in April.

All 12 teams from the SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division will be involved alongside the top teams from the Sports Direct Women's Premiership.

Group A will see a Dublin Derby between Bohemians and Shelbourne, while Sligo Rovers and Linfield Women are also involved.

Holders Galway United were drawn into Group C alongside Cliftonville Ladies, Cork City and Peamount United.

Lisburn Rangers will compete in Group B alongside DLR Waves, Shamrock Rovers and Wexford.

In Group D, Waterford will make their competition debut as they come up against Glentoran Women, Treaty United and last season's League of Ireland champions Athlone Town.

The group games will start on the week ending April 27th with fixture details to be confirmed in due course.

The quarter-finals will take place on the week ending July 5th ahead of the semi-finals in the week ending July 27th and the final - which will be broadcast live on TG4 - is scheduled in for the week ending August 31st.
