Sligo Rovers were beaten 2-1 by Shamrock Rovers in Friday night's SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division game at Tallaght Stadium.
Former Rovers player Johnny Kenny gave Shamrock Rovers a first-half lead - with Trevor Clarke then doubling the advantage.

However Rovers pulled a goal back in the second half through Greg Bolger and their pressure in the closing quarter of the game arguably merited at least a share of the spoils.
