Sligo Rovers came from a goal down to beat troubled Dundalk 2-1 in Saturday night's SSE Airtricity Premier Division game from the Showgrounds.
Robbie Benson gave Dundalk a 1-0 first-half lead from the penalty spot after Rovers midfielder was adjudged to have handled the ball inside his own penalty area in the 24th minute.
The home side drew level in the second-half thanks to a glancing header from Wilson Waweru, only for the Rovers centre-forward to be stretchered off moments later with a suspected achilles tendon injury.
The key moment arrived a short time later when substitute Luke Pierce was pulled down by Dundalk defender Haydn Cann (which saw him earn a straight red card), and Ellis Chapman converted the resultant spot kick to give Rovers all three points.
