Sligo Rovers have furthered strengthened their options at the back for the 2024 SSE Airtricity Premier Division by signing Kilmaine native Kelsey Munroe.
Munroe, played academy football at at the Showgrounds on the club's first-ever under-17 team in 2018 - but more recently played League of Ireland football with Athlone Town, helping them reach a first-ever FAI Cup final in 2022.
Injury curtailed her involvement last season but she's not fighting fit for a new chapter with Rovers under her former Athlone boss Tommy Hewitt.
