Sligo Rovers have signed the former Galway United and Athlone Town midfielder Ronan Manning.
The deal is for one season.
Manning, who's 24, is a well-regarded attacking player although his career has been blighted by injury problems in recent seasons.
A native of Galway, he is a younger brother of Southampton player and Ireland international Ryan Manning.
Manning the younger's arrival at the Showgrounds comes less than 24 hours after confirmation that Ellis Chapman has left the club to join Damien Duff at Shelbourne.
Manning and his new manager John Russell spoke to Ocean FM Sport's Ronan Flanagan on Friday.
