Sligo Rovers will play a friendly against Athlone Town on Saturday week.
The Bit O’ Red have no competitive fixture that weekend as the FAI Cup quarter-finals take place that weekend.
Instead they will take on the First Division side at the Showgrounds at 3pm as they step up preparations for their vital relegation six-pointer against Finn Harps the following weekend.
This Saturday, Rovers make their first ever appearance in the Scottish Challenge Cup when they welcome Falkirk to the Showgrounds for a 7.45pm kick-off.
