Sligo Rovers secured a 1-0 win away to St Patrick's Athletic in bank holiday Monday's SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division game at Inchicore.
Leading scorer Max Mata was again Rovers matchwinner as his 53rd minute header gave the visitors three league points.
It was the Kiwi's ninth league goal of the season.
