Reigning Connacht under-20 champions produced a rousing second-half display in Castlebar to knock Mayo out of this year's championship, and book a semi-final place next Wednesday against Galway, thanks to a 0-14 to 0-9.
Paul Henry's side looked out-of-sorts by half-time and were trailing 0-7 to 0-3 against a Mayo team who had racked up 10 first-half wides.
The second-half was a totally different affair as Sligo outscored their opponents by 0-11 to 0-2 with Bunninadden's Luke Marren leading the scoring tally with an impressive 0-6.
Sligo eventually ran out deserving five-point winners.

Roscommon's 3-16 to 2-6 win over Leitrim in Ballinamore sees them qualify directly for the Connacht final in two week's time - as they finished with a better scoring difference that Mayo in the standings (both teams were on five points).
