Three Sligo footballers have been named on the GAA's Tailteann Cup Team of the Year for 2024.
Evan Lyons (Shamrock Gaels), Sean Carrabine (Castleconnor) and Coolera/Strandhill's Niall Murphy have all made the selection.
Sligo reached the semi-finals of this year's Tailteann Cup before losing to eventual winners Down after extra-time at Croke Park.
The Mourne men, as winners, top the Team of the Year selection with five players.
Beaten finalists Laois get four.
The Tailteann Cup Team of the Year was decided by a selection committee chaired by Pat Daly.
The winners will be presented with their awards at a special black-tie event at Croke Park this Friday night (Oct 11th) where they will be guests of honour alongside hurling's Champion 15 and Joe McDonagh Team of the Year members.
The event will be streamed live by the GAA on YouTube on Friday from 7pm.
