Sligo's All-Ireland championship summer came to a shuddering halt at Kingspan Breffni as Dublin displayed their credentials once again in cruising to a 3-23 to 0-8 victory to finish top of Group 3.
The result was not unexpected but the scale of the Sligo capitulation will disappoint manager Tony McEntee at the end of a year of progress for his team.
Dublin led by 1-13 to 0-4 by half-time and were already out of sight.
The second-half didn't get any easier for Sligo with Dublin netting two more goals to win as they pleased.
The result sees Dublin finish top of Group 3 and qualify directly for the All-Ireland quarter-finals.
Kildare beat Roscommon by a point in Tullamore (1-16 to 1-15) to clinch second place and a home prelim quarter-final.
