Sligo U2O footballers hold Open Day for supporters

Sligo's back-to-back Connacht under-20 football championship winning squad and management will hold an Open Day for the county's supporters and friends this Saturday, April 29th, at the Sligo GAA Centre of Excellence in Scardenfrom 1pm to 3pm.

The team is scheduled to play Kerry in the All-Ireland semi-final on Saturday, May 6th - but in advance of that big game, the squad are throwing open the door to their fans with an opportunity for youngers supporters to meet and train with the team.

The Connacht trophy will also be on display and the event will also provide an opportunity for autographs and selfies.

There'll be an question-and-answer session, competitions, giveaways and music and refreshments will also be available on the day.

All are welcome.

This is a free public event but supporters will be invited to make a donation to the local suicide prevention charity North West STOP as a gesture on the day.
