Sligo senior gaelic footballers were soundly beaten by Allianz Division 3 league leaders Down on Sunday at Páirc Esler in Newry as the Mourne men ran out 2-17 to 1-8 winners.
Sligo manager Tony McEntee was making no excuses when he spoke to reporter Gavin Cawley after the game.
