He and his rowing partner Adam Murphy (Cork) compete in the heats of the men's heavyweight double sculls.
This is the event Colsh and Konan Pazzaia won gold in 12 months ago at the 2023 World Championships in Bulgaria.
The Irish crew have been drawn in Heat I on Sunday afternoon with the race due to begin at 3:02pm Irish time.
The first three boats will qualify directly for next Friday's semi-finals - with fourth and fifth contesting the repechage.
The senior, U23 and junior World Rowing Championships are all taking place in St Catherine's, Canada, over the next seven days (Aug 18024th).
