Sligo Rowing Club's Brian Colsh (pictured right) will compete for Ireland in Thursday's men's double sculls semi-final at the World under-23 Rowing Championships in Italy.
The Ballymote man and his team-mate Konan Pazzaia go in the first semi-final of the event at 1:30pm Irish in Varese.
The duo won their first round heat on Tuesday in fine style.
Ireland have been drawn in lane 3 for Thursday's semi alongside Germany, Great Britan, Belgium, Uruguay and the Czech Republic.
The first three boats will qualify for Saturday's final.
