Sligo's Eoghan Rua gaelic football team won the Paidí O'Sé club football tournament in Kerry this weekend.
The west Sligo girls lifted the intermediate title with a 3-4 to 0-5 victory over St Maur's (Dublin) in Saturday's final.
That win followed victories over MKL Gaels & Scartaglin, both from Kerry, en route to the decider.
Clubs from 14 counties from the four provinces of Ireland as well as one UK club took part in the 35th edition of the Lidl Comórtas Peile Páidí Ó Sé, with 26 adult men’s and ladies club teams gathering for a weekend of competitive football and social events including popular Irish band Super Céilí at Páidí Ó Sé’s pub in Ventry, west Kerry.
