Sligo's Nicole Fowley has been named at outhalf on the Ireland rugby team for this Saturday's opening women's Guinness Six Nations Championship game against France.
The Drumcliffe native, who’s the current Connacht captain, gets the nod in the No 10 jersey for the opening game against the French, in what will be her first Six Nations match for Ireland since 2019.
Fowley has 10 Ireland caps - and made her international comeback in the World 15s tournament in Dubai last October.
Saturday's Six Nations game kicks off at 2:15pm and will be televised live by RTÉ.
