Sligo's Paddy Reape included in Irish Pony Showjumping Team for European Championships

Sligo's Paddy Reape has been selected for Team Ireland's Irish Pony Showjumping Team ahead of the upcoming European Championships.

The tournament will take place in Le Mans, France, from the 26th to the 30th of July.

Reape, who will be riding the horse, "Fernando" - owned by his father, Jonathan - makes up a five-person strong team, with the other members hailing from Kilkenny, Limerick and Westmeath.

Paddy's younger brother, Senan, has also been listed for the tournament among the non-travelling reserves.
