Sligo's Ross Mannion has been appointed as Connacht rugby's new senior women's head coach.
Mannion was coach of the AIL Division 2C winning Sligo team in 2018 and he has worked with Connacht Rugby as a Club and Community Rugby Officer for 10 years.
For the past two years, he has held the position of Rugby Participation Officer at the Sportsground.
He spoke to Ocean FM Sport's Austin O'Callaghan about the appointment.

The Sligo man will be assisted by Lyndon Jones, who has been named as as Backs Coach to the Connacht women's team.
