Sligo Athletic Club's Seamus Somers was a popular winner of the 2022 Warriors Run in Strandhill on Saturday.
He ran the 10-mile loop from the cannon at Strandhill to the top of Knocknarea mountain and back in 57 mins 11 secs.
Aidan McMoreland was second in 59:37 with Martin Brennan finishing third in 59:56.
Kinlough's Breege Connolly, who competed for Ireland in the Olympic Marathon in Rio in 2016, was the first woman home, finishing eighth overall in 1hr 3mins 49secs.
