St Attracta's hoping to make it third time lucky

St Attracta’s are in the hunt for a first ever Connacht Senior A Championship title this weekend.

The Tubbercurry school play Westport’s Rice College in the decider at Tuam Stadium tomorrow at 12.30pm.

It is the third championship final in a row for the team coached by Colm McGee and Pat Kilcoyne.

They lost out to Summerhill and St Colman’s from Claremorris respectively in the last two years.

Speaking after the semi-final defeat of Castlebar’s St Gerald’s, in which his side scored 3-12, McGee insisted that winning is all the matters when it comes to championship matches.
