St Mary's reach Leitrim county final after penalty shoot-out

St Mary's Kiltoghert are through to the Leitrim Connacht Gold senior football final after beating Fenagh/St Caillin's 5-4 on penalties in a dramatic first semi-final at Carrick-on-Shannon.

The sides finished level at 0-10 each at the end of extra-time - and were still level at the end of extra-time (0-12 a-piece) before St Mary's prevailed in the penalty shoot-out.

The decisive spot kick saw Fenagh's Riordan O'Rourke's penalty saved by the St Mary's keeper.

Midfielder Paul Keaney scored 0-8 for the winners.

St Mary's will face Eamonn O'Hara's Mohill in the final after they beat Leitrim Gaels by 2-10 to 1-10 in Saturday's second semi-final.

O'Hara spoke to Ocean FM Sport's PJ Leddy after their three-point victory.
