The GAA has announced it is suspending the start of this year's Connacht senior football championship because of the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus outbreak.
The opening fixture of this year's championship, New York v Galway in Gaelic Park on May 3rd, has been postponed.
Sligo were scheduled to play the winners of that game in a provincial semi-final.
But Croke Park has announced that the start the football championship is on hold.
The future for this fixture will be considered at a later date and in the context of the anticipated overall re-drawing of the national fixtures calendar for 2020, as necessitated by the ongoing disruption to the GAA games programme.
