Leitrim hurlers have named Stephen Goldrick from the Leitrim Gaels club as their new captain for the Allianz Hurling League season, which begins this weekend.
Gavin O Hagan, Cluainín Iomáint (Glencar Manorhamilton) and Conor Hackett, St Mary’s are the vice-captains.
Leitrim begin their Division 3B league campaign this Saturday afternoon in Birmingham against Warwickshire (2pm).
