Strand Celtic advanced to the last 64 of the FAI junior cup on Sunday with an impressive 3-0 over Roscommon's St John's Athletic FC in Lecarrow.
Goals from Fiachra Cogan, Leo Doherty and Aaron O'Connor sealed the win for Strand.

They are now the sole Sligo-Leitrim team remaining in the competition after nine-man Carbury FC lost 3-2 to Manulla FC in Mayo.
Carbury trailed 3-1 in the second-half and were reduced to 10 players following Tyler Stallard's dismissal.
Nathan Rooney pulled a goal back in the closing quarter but goalkeeper Kyle Crawley then saw red and the nine players couldn't find an equaliser.
