Strand Celtic have been re-instated in this season's Connacht Junior Cup following an FAI appeal hearing concerning the Sligo-Leitrim club's third round opponents Castlerea Celtic.
Strand were knocked on penalties by the Roscommon club in round three - but it subsequently emerged that Castlerea had fielded an ineligible player in the tie.
Following an FAI hearing, Castlerea Celtic have been ejected from the competition and Strand Celtic will now face Renmore FC of Galway in the fourth round, which will take place in Galway on Sunday, March 5th, at 2pm.
