Summerhill College student Callum Lynch scored twice for the Republic of Ireland schoolboys under-18 soccer team in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Australia, in an international friendly played in Dublin.
After a scoreless first half during which Ireland keeper and Coola PPS student Kyle Gabbidon saved an Australian penalty, the visitors took the lead on 53 minutes before Lynch brought Ireland level with a well-struck free-kick just two minutes later.

Lynch would add a second on 68 minutes as Ireland went on to secure a 3-1 victory.
Coláiste na Carraige's Daniel Cunningham also played his part in the win - the Finn Harp player came on for the final 20 minutes of the game.
Elsewhere, Sligo Rovers academy goalkeeper Charlie McGarvey received another international call-up for an Ireland U15 international, also against Australia, at the weekend.
McGarvey played the second half of the game and kept a clean sheet.
