Sligo’s Ross Taheny was part of the Republic of Ireland Colleges and Universities side that was beaten 2-0 by the French counterparts in Whitehall this afternoon.
The Sligo Rovers defender, who is a student at St Patrick's College Drumcondra, played the first 60 minutes at centre-back for the Irish side in what was their final game of the season.
