Ocean FM Sport pays a visit to Mona McSharry's home village of Grange in north Sligo, ahead of Monday evening's Olympic 100 metres breaststroke final in Paris.
McSharry, who's qualified second quickest overall, will swim from lane 5.
The race is due to start at 8:25pm.
McSharry is one of two Grange natives on Team Ireland in France - with sprinter Chris O'Donnell part of the Ireland 4x400m mixed relay team, who will be in action on Friday.
Locals in Grange have been speaking of their pride and excitement ahead of the big swimming final.
Marlins Swimming Club are organising a live screening of Mona's final in Áras Aodh Ruadh at Fr Tierney Park in Ballyshannon (the home of Aodh Ruadh GAA Club) for supporters and friends, on Monday evening from 7:15pm. All are welcome.
