Thomas Morley features as Ireland win friendly tournament

Sligo Rovers U20 midfielder Thomas Morley played all 90 minutes as the Republic of Ireland U19s saw off Mexico by 2-0 in Croatia this afternoon.

This was the third and final game of this tournament, with Ireland previously registering two 2-2 draws with hosts Croatia and Greece.

Freddie Turley and Cian Dillon scored the goals for Ireland this afternoon.

This is Mayo man Morley's first involvement with Ireland at this level, and he featured in the games against Croatia and Mexico.

The U19s attention now turns to their U19 Euro Qualifiers in Moldova next month, where they will face Moldova, Azerbaijan and Iceland.
