Sligo Rovers have this afternoon confirmed the departure of Women's Manager, Tommy Hewitt, by mutual consent.
Hewitt took over at the end of last season, following the departure of the first man to manage the women's side, Steve Feeney.
The Bit O'Red have not won a league game all season with just two games left to go, but reached the semi-finals of the FAI Cup for a second year in a row, narrowly losing to Hewitt's old side, Athlone Town by 1-0.
In a brief statement issued this afternoon, Rovers thanked Hewitt for his service, and said they were appreciative of his hard work throughout his time at the Showgrounds.
