Sligo Rovers suffered a 6-0 loss to last season's runners-up Peamount United in their first-ever SSE Airtricity Women's National League game in Dublin on Saturday.
Without the injured trio of Emma Hansberry, Emma Doherty and Leah Kelly - and with other squad members absent because of illness, a depleted Rovers team performed admirably against an experienced Peamount side which boasted a number of current and former senior Irish internationals.
One of them, Aine O'Gorman netted a hat-trick in this game.

Peamount led 4-0 at half-time and added two further goals in the second 45 minutes to complete a 6-0 win.
Rovers will host DLR Waves at the Showgrounds next Saturday, March 12th, at 2pm - which will be their first home league game.
