Tributes have been paid to former Sligo Connacht Championship winning footballer Frank (Francis) Henry who has died.
He was 67.
The Shamrock Gaels clubman was one of the heroes of Sligo's Connacht championship winning team in 1975.

A native of Riverstown, ,Henry scored 1-2 in the drawn Connacht final with Mayo that year before helping the team win the replay in Castlebar, which sparked huge Sligo celebrations.

He was inducted into Shamrock Gaels Hall of Fame in 2016 - the citation for Frank at the time can be read here.
Henry's senior Sligo career spanned 12 years from 1974 to 1986.
He later moved to Co Kildare and settled in Leixlip where he became deeply involved with St Mary's GAA Club, and had had held the position of Chairman in more recent years.
His Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of St Charles Borromeo, Confey, in Leixlip at 11am on Friday (Nov 11th) and he will be laid to rest in Confey Cemetery.
