They're been widespread GAA tributes paid to one of Donegal's best-known exiles in New York, Donal Gallagher, who has died at the age of 78.
A native of Killybegs, Gallagher moved to the United States at the age of 18 and became one of the figureheads of the Donegal New York GAA club for more than 40 years, serving as coach and manager during much of that time.
He was one of the county's most recognisable faces stateside - and was a strong advocate for countless Donegal emigrants who travelled over to establish themselves in the US.
