This Sunday's Tony McGowan Memorial Run in Drumshanbo has been postponed as a mark of respect to young Allen Gaels footballer Ronan Moran, who passed away suddenly this week.
He was 20.
Moran, who was a hugely popular figure locally, was a student at University of Limerick.
He captained his home club to a Leitrim minor football title in 2020.

His funeral arrangements will be announced later.
The postponed Tony McGowan Memorial Run, which has attracted a field of 1200 runners and walkers, has been re-arranged for Sunday week, February 19th.
