Tubbercurry's new pop-up swimming pool was officially opened on Wednesday.
The pool is housed in a steel shipping container, measuring 12 metres x 3.5 metres inside a marquee, and is fully heated, filter and equipped to cater for disabled swimmers, with changing facilities.
Situated beside the local Garda Station in the town, the pool is now open to the public daily until December.
It's co-ordinated by Sligo Sport & Recreation Partnership, Sligo County Council and Swim Ireland.
Swim Ireland CEO Sarah Keane joined Ocean FM Sport's Austin O'Callaghan live at the official opening on Wednesday - as did some sixth-class pupils from Holy Family National School in Tubbercurry - who've already tried the pool out.
