For the second consecutive summer, there will no Warriors Run in Strandhill, Co Sligo.
Event organisers announced their decision on Tuesday evening on Social Media.
The 10-mile run, from the cannon at Strandhill to the summit of Knocknarea mountain and back, is a signature event on the Sligo sporting calendar every year.
The most recent edition of the race, in 2019, attracted a record 1,108 entries.

However, the pandemic restrictions have prevented the event from going ahead for the past two years.
Organisers say they are planning for a full return of the Warriors Run next year.
The race date for 2022 is Saturday, August 27th.
