Willie McStay set for Celtic sleepout in Ballymote

Former Sligo Rovers player-manager Willie McStay is taking part in a sleepout at Brother Walfrid Park in Ballymote this Saturday night, November 6th, to raise funds for Celtic FC Foundation's Christmas Appeal.

McStay and his wife Mary, whose mother came from county Sligo,  will join 20 other hardy souls in spending 10pm to 6am outdoors at the soccer ground named after the founder of Celtic FC, Brother Walfrid.

All money raise from the sleepout will go toward's Celtic's Christmas Appeal, which aims to help children, families, pensioners and others who are struggling at an especially challenging time of year.

McStay spoke to Ocean FM Sport's Austin O'Callaghan about the sleepout this weekend.
