The U14 Kennedy Cup got underway yesterday at the University of Limerick.
The Sligo-Leitrim Representative side beat the Dundalk League 2-0 in their Group 7 opener.
The Donegal League side also started with a win, beating the Carlow League 3-1 in Group 1.
But the Inishowen League lost out 3-1 to Athlone in Group 4.
