It was a successful weekend for Sligo Rugby Club.
The first team defeated Corinthians by 41 points to 14 in the third round of the Connacht Senior League helped by tries from Mark Rooney, Mike Wells, Enda Gavin and Matthew Cosgrove.
The club’s second team were victorious against Railway Union in a friendly match, while the newly-reformed third team beat Ballyshannon.
