Young Sligo boxer on course to win gold at European Youth Championships after impressive semi-final win

Sligo boxer Dean Clancy is through to the flyweight final of the European Youth Championships in Italy.

The Ballincarrow just won impressively against his Ukrainian opponent Yurii Tomiuk in the flyweight semi-finals.

The 16-year-old is now on course to win a gold medal, and is guaranteed a silver medal.
