A funding allocation of over 120,000 euro has been announced this morning for Rosses Point to be used for Coastal Protection.
The funding was announced by Minister for the office of Public Works Patrick o Donovan TD and will be used to protect the public path in the village.

Coastal damage issues is becoming more problematic with rising sea levels and Sligo Leitrim TD and Minster for state Frank Feighan says there are many local Costal communities that need assistance with Coastal protection.
